Hi guys I need help on fixing my cigarette lighter on my IS300. The lighter can't pull off the holder. I think maybe because the metal prone bended. Can some one please help me how to fix it. Or else I have to buy the whole thing from the internet or from Lexus. thank you

i've never had this happen, but i'm going to say if you dont care about the lighter and just want the socket, you can probably just really yard on the lighter or break it and pull out the pieces ... of you want the lighter, um, i dunno?

just like Fay said, if you dont care about the lighter, then yank hard. Just wiggle it around and see where your limit it on not breaking anything else.

I will try to fix it this Friday. If not working then I guess I have to buy a whole lighter from IS3_FTW. hahaha.

This happened to me when I bought my IS 3 years ago..I pulled it so hard and it still didnt come out...i was dumbfounded as to why it was stuck..so after a few days of pulling on it and still nothing, I took it to lexus and told them that it was their problem..I was very demanding and even though my car wasnt under warranty they still took it in and gave me a brand new lighter and got the old one out..I would try and take it to lexus or toyota and see what they can do..but if anything i dont think the lighter assembly is very expensive..:/

Ok Thank you for all your help. Still have no time to fix it yet. but if I run out of option then I will go to Lexus shop to fix it. Thanks
