Default Auto?

What is better on hard acceleration, (0-60 -- 1/4 mi)
using the auto or using th E-shift? Or it doesn't matter which.

The Auto. If you're going to take your foot off the gas at all, you'll have to use E-Shift. The Auto is faster, and more accurate at shifting for straight line acceleration. It can't see the turn coming up ahead of you though, and can't downshift for the turn.

What exactly do you mean by redline? I know that even without the ECT Power button on, the car will go into the redline, and the rev-limiter will kick in. So are you asking if the rev-limiter will be raised, or did I answer your question above?

I don't know to be honest. I'll play with it this weekend. I just know that I can hit 6500 without it on. I think it's only for when you're driving in Auto mode. The Manual mode overrides the the Power button.
