Agh, got rear-ended.
More of a "love-tap" really as the kids call it.
Sitting contentedly at a stop light I got smacked by a dodge caravan. It was maybe 5 mph, no injuries, and we parted ways after a quick look revealed no damages other than some scratches that will buff out.
Now looking today I see that my bumper is now misaligned slightly, up higher on the passenger side where I took the hit and pushed slightly towards the drivers side, so the trunk lid is much closer at the bottom on the passenger side.
Now I'm no horrible miser so I'm not going to nail this lady's insurance company for it... it's ultimately minor, everything else checked out ok and the scratches are coming out easy. Of course now I can't get ahold of her, so it's not like that's working out anyway.
Any thoughts on realigning the bumper cover? Not something I've ever done. Body work is not my specialty. I'm not looking to beat on this chick that hit me, so that's not the issue, but any ideas on the bumper would be appreciated.
I guess if I go the long route I could give my wife the IS and go buy another. But I don't have enough clients for that right now. Hmmmm... No, real solutions would be better.
