hey guys, i wanted to know!!! if you can help me solve this problem...my cousin just bought an IS300 2004 but his foglights are amber yellow, but he wants to change them out to clear and put an aftermarket hid kit to it....i tried the search but no luck hope you guys can help me on this one!!! any help its appreciated thanks in advance!!!

I haven't done this myself because I like the yellow personally, but there is a website that shows a DIY on opening the fogs, removing the yellow lens and sanding it down to make it clear.. as far as I know thats the only way to make the OEM's clear. I'll try and find the site for you..

Hey no problem! I have seen some "JDM" fogs on ebay that are clear.. also I want to say that some of the canadian spec IS's came with clear fogs, not 100% sure though. Best of luck with whatever you guys decide though!

The JDM clear fogs for the 1gen are very expensive. I personally love the bluish HID and Yellow fog combo on the 1gen's and 2gen Gs's.

FYI: Canadian IS300s also came w. yellow.

If he's going after market then how about clear projectors? ... I think TRD did some.

Yea, see I thought I had heard somewhere that some of them did come clear. I wonder why some Canadian spec IS's have them and others don't?

i think it depend on the year.. i seen most 03-05 (sedan)has clear fog.... however..i had seen some sportcross for the same year (02) with US Spec has yellow fog....

i like yellow fog better............wish my is yellow...instead of clear...

sportcross fogs will not fit a sedan bumper

if your lense is clear you could get a 3000K HID kit...
