I have a GPS mounted on the dash and I have seen indicated speeds of over 145 several times. Top speed... who knows!

i have gotten mine up to130-135mph but that was not top, just enough to hurt the feelings of the people who had tried me on the freeway. i dont drive top speeds just for the hell of it anymore, but in a race (close race) maybe. I wrecked a 5.0 mustang GT when i was 18 going 130+ mph cuz a guy pulled in front of me . late night we were the only 2 people on the stretch and nothing was in front of him to cause him to switch. ( i hate people who cant drive) so when i get up in the speed i think about the $35,000 paid for car i am driving. Yeah i have insurance but i do want to live.

I am looking at the 2002 IS300 brochure from the dealer, and it quotes 143.7mph.... but whether Lexus is being conservative or not, who knows.

148 is the fastest I got mine so far... DT1313 has not rev limiter and on the dyno he wailed a 175mph
