I know everyone always talks about the G35, the A4, the 330i and others but has anyone heard anything about the new Mazda 6. It is a new model to replace the 626.
Here is what Mazda Says :
Due to arrive in the U.S. as a 2003 model, the Mazda 6 will undoubtedly breathe new life into an aging family-sedan line. Mazda previewed the car at the 2002 Tokyo Motor Show and received an overwhelming "thumbs up" from those in attendance. The 6 platform comes in three variations: a 4-door sedan, a 5-door hatchback and a 5-door wagon. Engine choices in the U.S. will be limited to either a 16-valve 4-cylinder rated at 150 horsepower or a potent 24-valve V6 good for 220 horsepower. Upgrades to the suspension, braking and steering further distance the 6 from the 626 it replaces and keeps the sedan inline with the company's performance image. Look for a 5-speed manual or 4-speed electronic automatic transmission to be available on both the 4- and 6-cylinder engines.
That sounds like the most similar car to the IS300 to me. A 4-door sedan with 220 hp and a 5-speed. The luxury of a Lexus probably wont stay but im guessing that this car will be priced in the high teens or low twenties. Thats a big difference, and its not as ugly as a WRX.
What do you think ??

BTW, the US version will NOT have clear taillamps. This car is a definite thumbs up. You guys can say the g35 is this and that and ugly and slow, Ill accept that because its an Inifniti (eventhough I and basically anyone who isnt a CL member agrees), but this car is something to watch out for and you have to admit it.
