Default 2005 IS Kaminari Body Kit / Paint

I am researching the cost to install a 4 piece Kaminari kit along with painting the car. My IS is Bluestone and in decent shape. I thought while the kit gets painted why not paint the entire car (give it that showrrom look). Since I am going to repaint with the Bluestone I should be able to save some costs since there is no reason to paint the inner door jams, engine area etc...

What would it cost to have someone install the kit? What would it cost for an entire car paint job (excluding the areas that dont need repainted as mentioned above)? Would want a good paint job with at least a 5 year warranty. Lastly, does anyone know a shop in N. Florida that they recommend?

Thanks for your help.

If you want a showroom shine paint job. It would cost you about $3k. And thats the minimum. It goes up from there, depending on what kind of work needs to be done to the kit, to fit.

There's no need to paint a car that has factory paint that is in good shape. You're spending a ton of money senselessly and devaluing the car by repainting over the stock paint. Paint the kit and ride it.

Better off to send the car for some serious detailing & paint only the kit.

Like O.L.T. said, don't paint the entire car.
