Buying my first IS300; need help?
Looking to buy a IS300. Iv driven a few of them and checked out 3 so far but they have all been in an accidents and i don't want that. I even got to drive a IS-F today for a bit just for fun.
So here one im looking at: 2001 Lexus IS300
It pretty much has even feature available if I'm not mistaken. The stuff not listed which is has are
Heated Seats
6 CD Changer
I asked him to show me all the car reports / service records tomorrow when I go.
This will be used by me primarily but also my mom so it has to be automatic unfortunately. We don't drive much in general. (Put 150,000km in 12 year's) so that's not much as all. I don't plan on modifying it at all in any way. Just looking for some input. I heard that even tho its 180,000 km's. I will prob only put on 20,000 to 30,000 in the next 3 years (Im in University). I just want to know what i might be getting into before i considering getting it.
Any problems i should be aware of. I know some stuff like the timing belt / water pump and spark plugs should have been replaced prior to me buying it. Hopefully they are.
Basically i want to know, if its worth it LOL. I really like this car, its unique and stands out but there very hard to come by in Toronto.
Thanks in advance
