Default Missing vacuum line...

Just noticed this...it is the vacuum line to the left of the power steering unit. There is no hose. I turned the motor on, no suction anyways. Where is the hose supposed to be attached to?

Also the second pic is of a vacuum line that seems to be plugged off. It is somewhat behind the oil dipstick. Is it supposed to be plugged off or what?

Any help would be appreciated.
