Default im reallllllllly mad!!!!! Update on the lip.
so this weekend (the 11th) there is a car show in va beach and i have this lip i wanted to put on...so i bought the paint and painted it tonight and i think the paint is trash! grr now i wont be able to get my lip on b4 the show =/ and im bein judged

but i did get my parking lights in



here are a few pics from earlier when i had the lip still on..also my bike that i was going to paint GGP but i prolly wont now that the paint i bought may be no good

it looks like its a prep issue. like there were oils or contamination on the surface before you painted.

yep. primer issue.

sand. prep. primer. dry. color paint(light coats x4). then clear. should be good to go

hmm i did that...sanded primered it then wet sanded it..maybe the wetsand messed it up?

and the wierd thing is that was the 2nd coat that i had put on...the first coat did fine so i let it dry then sprayed the 2nd and within 5 mins it looked like that

maybe it produced some latent heat. or use much lighter coats


if all else fails, take it to a local shop. if you get it in tomorrow it should be done by the weekend.

You hurried and didn't allow the bottom coat to tack properly before shooting the other coat. Either stay on it, or stay off it - when shooting.

we have no local shops around here lmao i have to drive like 40 mins to get anything done to my car..and hopefully tonight it will turn out better...im not sure y im having such a hard time with this cuz i had just painted my civic not 2 long ago and it came out fine...well painted it b4 i sold it
