Hey guys. I'm new to the Lexus forums and had some main questions..
My sister is drivin an 04 Lexus IS300 and she wants me to "supe" it up for her. She's not really into performance or anything just more of looks. I've been searchin around the forums and I found that most IS300 get the same front lip. Which lip is that? What else can I do to make the car look better?? It's all stock right now the only thing is rims. Thanks guys

welcome.

what part of colorado do you live in? im in the springs. heads up another good forum is my.is.....but just becareful they are very hard on rookies over there. but use the search options there and here and you can usually find answers to your questions.

most want the trd lip. but its discontinued and really pricey when someone sells one.

another one people get are the Rmm lips. but the carbon fiber center splitter usually breaks quickly

this is the trd replica. its made by VIS...looks pretty good to me.

you also have the entire front bumper replacement you can do. Carson makes a nice one. the major difference between it and the neo one is the opening for the foglights is more angular on the carson.

Neo

Like this!

Yeah, it's the "stick on" badges. Just simply use a blow dryer to heat up emblems and with like a dental floss, patiently go back and forth underneath as the emblem slowly comes off the car. I just used some spray on wax to remove all the gunk from the emblem that's left on your IS. I think this look is much cleaner....too much clutter with all those emblems back there!

the "cloudiness" in the headlights is actually just the clear bra..found out from my previous GX470. thought the headlights needed restoring and when i peeled off the clear bra it was like new again.

Does she like the chrome door handles. I dont think it looks good on an IS. But to each their own. The Carbon front grill is a fake. So if you do decide to get it. You will have to paint it. And color match it to black, so it flows. That way you get what you pay for Cheap and DIY paint work. Which isnt hard.
I also went the cosmetics route vs. turbo.

Best of luck and be careful of the Trac Off. It can get squirly

Here is a DIY for your headlights, if you do go that route...

Here is my black housed headlight...

Here is my JDM TRD lip kit...
