Congrats! I love the excitement of getting an IS300. I've done it twice.
If you build yourself an LED cluster keep in mind that the led's you twist in will spot up and look nasty. You want to either use raw led's and put them in like you see in that DIY link, or just don't really mess with it. You don't want to start off your mods with something half assed looking.
One of the biggest things to also remember is that if you change the cluster you have to change the A/C, the door switches, the center consoles, etc....... it just keeps going until you get rid of all the orange switches and buttons, including the trac and heated seats switches in the center under the radio.
It's a bigger task than you think and none of them will look "perfect", but the more effort you make to do it right and by hand all custom the better it will look.

Congrats. Suspension first, then intake. When you do upgrade the intake, you will probably need to get a SAFC-II to confuse the ECU that your still running stock. If to much air flow goes into the Throttle body, the ECU will choke the engine adn the car wont start or run correctly. If that happens, you will get a CEL(check engine light), and a trac off will flash. Just do a lot of research and you will find the right route to go with.
Exactly what O.L.T mentioned, its not just a Plug N Play setup for your cluster. If you read his thread linked up at the top. It will be a PITA. I have read through many threads on peeps doing LED swap on our clusters. Its not exactly as easy as you might think, or your friends might tell you. You will get hot spots and dim spots all around your cluster and climate control area.
Good Luck and happy modding
