I love the styling of the IS300, but I am not a 4-door Lexus guy. I currently own a 1995 SC300, and I have heard rumors of an IS300 in the works. I would trade in my SC300 for an IS300 coupe in a heartbeat. It would just be nice to see a legitimate BMW 3-series coupe fighter from Lexus. If anyone has heard anything please let me know. Thanks everyone in advance.

I also am wanting a Lexus 2-door that does not cost 70k! THe new Infiniti G35 coupe is a very interesting propsition. Lexus needs more coupes.

Heard about a SC 300 coupe coming back (looks like an SC 430 but no convertible).

 

Were they actually thinking about that or was it just a photoshop?

 

i heard that somewhere also, about the sc300 coupe that has no convertible option. interesting, but i would love to see the IS coupe also

 

I have heard the SC430 is getting a real hardtop, but it will still cost upwards of 65K. About six months ago in one of the big auto magazines they mentioned a little blurb about an IS300 coupe to specifically do battle with the BMW 3-series. There is also a website, http://lexus.start4all.com/ that has a link in regards to an IS300 coupe. Only bad thing is once you click on that icon there is nothing there so...............who knows?

 

a 2 door lexus would be very interesting to me.

 

a 2 door is coupe to battle the 6.6 0-60 sec bmw 330is??? coupe would be very very nice... i think it would get a lot of young buyers!!!

 

brian, why would u want an awd car? awd car's transmissions are very weak and cannot hold monstrous hp as you would like. the only advantage is the launch.

 

i would TOTALLY go for a 2-door IS. that would be awesome. i've been wondering if they'd ever do that. i'm sure plenty more teenagers would want one. i, personally, would take one anyday. oh and btw, i'm 15. so i'm drivin soon. well that 2-door IS coupe idea is great. just wanted to give some input, from the next generation.

I'm twice your age so it's great to hear from the next generation of buyers. With the input from your age group you can truly shape the cars of the future. Keep on them for an IS coupe. It would be a great addition to an already great stable of cars at Lexus. Ciao.

i don't think i would ever buy the awd is300 with the kind of power it has currently. the awd would rob the is300 of its power and weigh it down!!
