Carwash Ruins my paint
Today i went to the carwash because it had rained for a coupe of days. So i go to wash my car and when i was drying it i noticed alot of scratches all over my black paint! There was also alot of little white spots like if they were rock chips but it was all over the windshield too. i just drove it to work and back since i got it.They had buffed the car the day i got it whitch was December 4th 2009.Was it possible that it was scratched and the white stuff was because of it being buffed and i washed it to early? Also the car was repainted but i dont know the exact date it was painted but it looked pretty fresh. Any help? Im realy pist! And can the cratches be fixed by rebuffing it?

What did you use to dry your car? Are there scratches or swirls? Do the white spots rub off or are they pits? When you say "they" do you mean the dealer? I don't think you washed too soon since it's already been over a week. But, if the stuff they used wasn't clean it certainly do the car any favors. Honestly, you got a black car and it's going to be a PITA to keep clean and swirl free.

I used the towles they have there for 75cents, there is both scratches and swirls i brushed it with those brushes they have at the carswash.Yes the dealer was finishing buffing it when i went to pick it up. The scratches look like light scratches can this be fixed by buffing it?

Well I can shoot at people on the freeway until I get caught. Consider yourself haven gotten lucky. Most people don't bother cleaning them after scrubbing their wheels.

you should never brush the car with that foam brush they have at the carwash... it's probably full of grit and crap stuck in the bristles... they've proved they damage the paint on an episode of 5th gear awhile ago. It should be correctable with a polisher and cutting pad.
