Broken CD changer, Repair and parts
I pulled the cd changer out of the car and opened it up to find the arm that swings out to spin and play the cd's is slipping. I can see the gear that is slipping on the shaft down in there and I would like to know if anyone knows where to order that part. The dealer wanted 900 bucks to swap it out for a reman unit and that's not going to happen.

Someone here found a solution, do a search and I think you will find the info. This is the one issue I have with this car, the CD player breaks constantly, I am on my second one.

Humm, I looked at tons of posts no one had info where to buy the gears. Everyone says buy an aftermarket head unit. Honestly I would rather not as an aftermarket raido is a target for scumbags to smash my windows and rip up my dash. That costs way more than fixing the changer.
Anyone know where to buy the gears to repair these?
