Default Does anyone know how to remove This?

I saw this picture off someone's website. Does anyone know how to remove the ORANGE NASTY bulb in the headlight? I included a RED Arrow in there to let everyone know what I'm talking about.

I'm not refering to the side marker on the bumper. I'm refering to the ORANGE STOCK bulb in the headlight.

Does anyone know how to remove it? Thanks everyone for your input!

from wut i understand you have to do it it just like you do with the Acura CL and TL's, and GS, and well, most basically every other car that doesn't have seperate clear corners. Use a heat gun or dremel to open up the housing. I believe you have to remove your front bumper to remove your headlights. I could be mistaken however.

If i am not mistaken you are talking about the day time running light. you can replace it with a hyper but it will not work as well as you may want because it runs at 1\2 the power. this is the problem with safty but you can replace the blube and then unplug your day time running lights. so you will not get the orange look.

hope this helps

Hello, I was talking about the Turn Signal ORANGE BULB, if that make sense?

Right where the arrow is at. I'm not refering to the day time lights. THanks for the response!

yes the orange turn signal bulb is normally covered by an orange reflector is it not? If it is the reflector has to be removed first. If not then open the hood on your car and look for a bulb in that area near the corner of the lamp, it should be there.

its called the turn signal bulbs. period.
dont confuse everyone with the arrow or any other description for it.
and the IS only has the bulbs, no reflector kinda stuff.
the top bulbs (there are TWO on EACH side if you didnt know) can be replaced by opening your hood and go from the top.
the lower ones can be done by taking off the front bumper. go to is300.net and do a search. you'll find more info there on the IS.

SSagaG is right...I have replaced mine with Hypers. It looks sooooo much better!! I also replaced my daytime lights with Hypers and disabled them...so when they are off, both the daytime bulbs and the turn signal bulbs make the whole housing look blue. Do a search for my pics in the IS300 album and you will be able to see the blue in the housing. Type in livnxl and that should pull up my pics.

Does anyone have any instructions on how to remove the bumper? I mean is there a better way of doing it besides removing the bumper?

There is no better way to do it than to remove the bumper...as a matter of fact...its also the easiest way of doing it!! First, you need to take off the 4 clips that holds the grill in, and then remove the screws in the wheel wells, and the screws from below and the bumper will come right off!!
