Dyi or a how to do -ash tray into ipod dock? Custom...
i wanted to build a custom ipod dock or a place where i could put my ipod. i seen some pics of ash tray docks but i have no idea how to do it. can anyone help me with a dyi or some advice with pictures.

I would assume it's just dremel work and running a cable under the console to the tray.
I have been thinking about this as well for the iphone. I was gonna start with a junk dock and try to fit it to the tray. Let us know how your progress comes out. I will do the same when I get to it.
