windshield wiper arm

My driver side windshield wiper arm has broken - it still moves, just not along the windshield. Is there a way to fix this myself? I have moved & no longer live near a dealership.

go buy you a new one... its cheap.. go to auto part store and get you a wiper arm and wiper blades
