Unless you're racing, 2000 miles is just a waste of money.
Chaseball: RTFM. Lexus recommends every 4 months / 5000 miles unless you do almsot exclusively highway driving, then I think the recommendataion is 6 months/7500 miles.
Every 4 months or 5000 miles is plenty with modern metalurgy and oil technology, unless you drive exceedingly hard or in very extreme conditions (like off road in the desert).
