Default 2002 IS300 Losing Coolant But NO Visible Leaks...?

My friend has this car and is putting in about a 1/2 gallon of anti-freeze/water mix per week, but there is no apparent leaks and it is not overheating, no white smoke, no CEL? Any suggestions on what the cause is?

Thanks.
