Hello,
I recently got the Leatherique Leather Restoration Product. My 2002 IS300 seats are all leather with the little holes in the middle. My seats starting to become very brittle and hard and has cracks on the sides.
I would like to know if anyone ever used this product and is it safe to apply it on the middle of the seats? Would it damage the seat warmers?
I have read alot of forums about this product but I haven't seen any pics or inputs about the is300 seats. Hopefully someoone could help.
Thanks

Never heard of that specific product, but leather gets craked and brittle if you don't moisturize it. It's animal skin after all, and needs to have a supply of fat added to it in order to prevent it from drying and cracking.
I've heard good things about Lexol and Swissvax. There's a lot of creamy leather restorers from Meguiars and Zymol as well. I'd probably use the Meguiar's Gold Class cream to try and restore it.
All of it should be thick enough, and be well enough absorbed by the leather not to seep into the heaters. I have the heated/ventilated seats and I constantly wipe them with leather wipes. Just don't pump massive amounts into the perforations and it should be fine.
