Default Help Please, My A/C unit causes vibration.

Hi,

Well I've tried searching the forum for my kind of problem but havent come across a thread yet.

But today when I turned on my A/C I started getting vibration that shouldnt be there. I get the normal vibration from turning on the A/C but this one is a big vibration. I could even hear it inside the cabin. It doesnt vibrate when i put the fan speed to Low but when it gets faster something starts vibrating and makes vibration noise.

Sounds like a phone vibrating on a wooden desk.

Do you guys have any idea what it might be? This socal heat is KILLING ME.. I hope my AC doesnt go bad..

switch from a/c over to heat and see if the vibration is still there, if it is then its more than likely the blower motor especially since it only does it on higher speeds above low. also when you replace the motor you might want to get the plastic blower fan that is on top of it, as it may be hitting on its way around. I had a 99 Civic Si once that did the same exact thing and the fan motor was good and the shaft wasnt bent on the blower motor it turns out something was wrong with the plastic fan and the only way to replace the plastic fan was to buy the whole blower motor and blower fan assembly from honda, aftermarket companies didnt made the blower motors but no plastic fans for them.
