Default wires behind the coin slots...WTF?

over the weekend i FINALLY got around to putting in the jdm double din kit i got months ago and relocated the trac off and driver side heated seat buttons to the coin slots, when i was doing this i saw two wire harnesses back there, i didnt take pics as it was getting dark and i was in a hurry but i was curious as to what these are, anybody?

One of the plugs should be for the memory seat setting buttons.

one is for the memory seat position, not sure about the other harness though. if i am not mistaken though the memory seats wont work if your car didnt come with it new, even if you get a memory seat switch and hook it up. i think you have to have an ECU from a car with memory seats. my brothers wife has an 01 is300 and we tried putting the memory seat switch out of my old 04 is300 in her 01 and it wouldnt work.

canadian spec rear fog lights.

the two smaller lights on the rear trunk do not come on with the brakes like Us models. different guys have been fussing with this option,. i havent seen them figure it out yet. you can search for foglight switch and probably find a couple links.
i tend to like more brake lights over having a rarely used rear foglight system.

if you have seen an audi with this option you know what im talking about.
