I'm not lowering the car at all. I drive it everyday and i live in NJ and the roads blow so it's staying the way it is. I'm building a 2JZ swapped 97 240sx.
I just sold my 1994 LSX RX-7. llllll you live in philly and you know how bad the roads are. I was looking for a good place to take pics in the city last night. I was at the bottom of the art museum steps but with the yellow lights the car looked like *** in the pics at night.

Roads here suck bigtime
why not build GTE swap IS300 and use 240 for daily.
That's what I want to do.... well not the GTE swap, but I want a 240 for a daily...
Or a 4Runner, I am checking out 2 4runners this weekend.
Philly/nj crew up in here
Lets hang out sometime and take pics IS crew!

Yeah that's true,
I'm thinking I should get 4 runner because winter is coming and snow last year was ridiculous...
But I am thinking I should get a 240 because it is good on gas compared to 4runner, I drive 60+ miles every day for work
Also it is small and easy to park in the city, parking spots can be tight if I have a 4runner.
But insurance on a 4runner would be cheaper than if I got a 240
also If I got a 4runner I wouldn't care what it looks like and wouldn't want to "hook it up"
decisions decisions decisions....

I have an 05 jeep wrangler on 35's with gears lockers so no need for another 4X4 and i like fast cars and the IS is just to heavy of a car for what i want. The 240 is light small i like the look and will go low low 9's high 8's on E85 tune and i'll street drive the car. My RX-7 went 9.60's but was a spray car and it's no fun the bottle runs out so i sold it and moved on to a turbo car AGAIN!!!
I had a 1997 25th anniversary green supra i bought new in 1997. Sold it in 05 then got back into the car game in 08 built the RX-7 sold that in may now building the motor and tranny for the 240 as we speak.

yeah ive been inside and out of the 240 game thats all i did for years. I had alot of crazy **** done with alot of different ones. I have alot of love for them but you are never satisfied with one no matter what and there always tends to be problems with 240s.
And llllllll the longest i have owned a 240 and kept it stock was about an hour haha. They are boring as hell stock. 4runner FTW unless you decide you wanna mod the 240 because no matter what you say if you get one it will happen lolz

I think no matter what i own i will never leave it alone. the IS is the only car i have ever had that i haven't torn apart with all kinds of diff aftermarket **** in it!!! I've only owned 4 cars that i didn't do a motor swap on and i'm 38 and have had easy 40 cars!!! So don't think what ever you buy will leave totally alone it just won't happen!!!
