My IS3 vs. A Germans IS200
So I'm cruising with a buddy late Sunday afternoon, and I pulled out in front of a silver is200. He came flying up on me and flashed his lights... International sign for race... So I down shifted to 3rd and he got next to me ( I'm guessing he was a six speed, defiantly manual) and honked 3 times and gave my girl some go. He fell behind almost instantly. I pulled about 2 or 3 cars and let off. We did this a few more times and I won all 3 times we went. I pulled off the road and he followed. We talked cause he knew a little English. He had exhaust and so e ghetto *** PVC intake. All in all, it was a good day. Man I love my car.

Rofl! I'm stationed in Germany, but from Nebraska, sorry for not clear in that up in advance. The ONLY reason my IS is here is because I owe on it, and my wife was prego and we needed a car. It was free shipping thru the military, so I said... My Lexus+autobahn= FUN. So she's here.

How's your car do on the Autobahn? Do you ever hit the speed governor and find yourself having to move over for faster cars? Btw, Don't the IS200 have a smaller inline 6?

Ive hit the governor a few times, and yea I gotta move over. It's not un common to be blasted by bigger and faster cars. The is200s have a 2.0 liter 4 banger.

Rofl grand turismo. I'm no bs-er. I hate it here, I miss the states so f***Ing bad. Gas is ridiculous. On post here we pay the national average for the states. So, something like 380 something per liter. From a quarter tank to full is almost 50 bucks.

You should put your IS300 up for sale, I bet you could get a lot of money for it!!
I think A LOT of people would want to buy a American-Spec IS300
That's like how everyone in the US wants a J-spec car (because it's different!!!)

youd think so, theres a guy not far from here with a USDM is300 with springs rims and exhaust selling it for 17000. its an 05 blue with 60k, 5 speed. and no one wants to buy it. theres alot of hassle selling to non americans. id love to sell mine for 15-1700, but just really no marked for it with germans.

I'm pretty sure the COLA should take care of that, but you saying you had a wife and kid, you prolly never really get to see the extra money.
