Methods to Drop an IS300
I know there are plenty of people out there concidering the different methods of dropping their IS300s (including myself). I hope this thread helps myself as well as others going through the same decision making as me.
The way Im leaning to right now is replacing the stock springs. I do, however, know that you can blow your shocks if you go too low. I was concidering using the H&R springs just because I've heard they give a little more than an inch drop without severely compromising the comfortable ride of the vehicle, but Im all ears if anyone has anything better. I wanted to get some feedback from people who have tried these springs or any other spring setup. Please inform me of any problems, likes, and dislikes. I just pretty much want to know if its ok to drop my IS with only springs and not really having to worry about blowing any shocks and especially not my warranty. Im not looking for much of a drop, I just want a nice stance and less leaning in turns but still want the nice ride.
I really appreciate any info, suggestions, and/or comments concerning this matter. Thnx

H&R springs
Hey wassup dawg, check it out i dropped my homies IS300 2002 First 5-Speed IS in the sanfernando valley in cali. I used H&R springs i think they were the racing springs or the sport springs but i know it was a 1.4 front drop and a 1.3 drop in the front. I would have to say very very very nice, and what was shocking was the ride was still smooth and there was no probs with bumps in the road. So for sure go with the H&R springs with the front drop of 1.4 and the rear drop of 1.3 it looks very nice too.
