how to replace bank 2, o2 sensor
#2
Yep. Had myself a sensor socket popped it out. I took out the passenger seat as well mainly because it gave me a good excuse to clean the carpet under the seat. After I did that I just got under the carpet unplugged the sensor and swapped out the new one.

I dont remember exactly what code it was but it was b2 s2. I hit it up with PB blaster the evening before. Of course having oxygen sensor sockets make a big difference as well but you don't need them. A wrench should be plenty.
I took out the passenger seat first.
Then I got under the carpet and found the plug. Disconnected it and started pushing it thru its plug hole. If I remember correctly the new sensor should could with the rubber plug to seal the hole it comes thru.
Lifted up the car and proceeded to remove the sensor from the exhaust.
Of course installation is reverse.

Champion Toyota out of Texas. Ordered it thru them the last time I visited home and got my supraforums discount.
I do not remember it off hand.
BUT sparkplugs.com sells denso O2 sensors along with ngk which I have ran in toyotas for years and have not had a problem.

I didn't need to remove the passenger seat. Just reached under the seat under the carpet and poked the plug through.
Got the part from Sparkplugs.com for about $75. It was a 234-4517 Denso product.
