No problem. I always go to tirerack.com to see the overall height of the tire. Just find the tire in the size you want and click on "specs". Then look for the overall height. It's best to look up your current size and then the size you are looking to get and compare them. Obviously the closer to stock, the more acurate the speedo will be.
Maybe it's been said and maybe you know this but 235 is the width of the tire in mm and the 40 means the height of the sidewall (profile) of the tire is 40% of the 235mm width.

my pokies or smugglin raisins arnt protruding that much
. a grand for a bumper seems excessive but its very nice. if i can find one for 500 used id definitely get it unless u meant 750 for skirts, bump and front lip. heres some pics i took at the gym. u tell me if there tucked in behind the well or poke out alot. If u mean the rim design is poking then u are right

Hehe yeah unfortunately it's $750 just for the back bumper (unpainted).
But I got lucky and that was including shipping cost.
I'm pretty sure it was 750, or 730, I don't remember, it was a while ago.
All I know is that it was 7 something, plus 400 just to paint and install the dam thing..

Great for picking out tires for different size wheels.
Also will tell you the accuracy of your speedometer.

i just ordered my tires. ill take pics soon as there on. the message is from service rep i know from my local tire shop. i ended up gettin 225/35s fronts and 245/35s backs
I've been searching all morning for your tires (Conti DWS) and I cann't find 235/35r19. I spoke to one distributor and they said they are not in production yet. If you have time take a look at 245/35r19.
It's just a little wider and taller but still only 3.1% larger than your facotory option of 225/45r17. I can get 225/35r19 installed $199.00 each and I can get 245/35r19 installed $229.00 each.
225/35r19 = o.d. (outside diameter) 25.2", s.w. (section width) 8.9"
245/35r19 = o.d. 25.8", s.w. 9.6"
Other than the DWS I'm not finding much in both sizes in an all season Any questions give me a call or e-mail.

just got my new tires on. 245/35 backs 225/35 fronts. Ride is alot smoother and less bumpy but car seems less responsive when accelerating and these allseasons seem alot more bulkier than my old toyos. think i might switch the backs out to 235/35s and put summer conti dws on them and keep the all season 225/35 conti dws's in the front. Anyone know if that be alright to put all seasons in the front and summers in the back if there the same brand . the fronts are continentals extreme contact dws(drywetsnow). i plan to put continentals extreme contact Dw drywet summers in the bak

pics of 225/35s fr and 245s/35 rear. helped fill the gap a little. these contis handled nice in snow and in rain. smooth like butta on the dry pavement too.

the "225 235 or 245" represents the width of the tire. running a wider tire isnt going to help "fill in the gap". only way to stop the monster truck look is to lower the car. that car needs to be lower.
the tire height for IS 19s should be 35 if you went bigger it can start to throw off your speedo.
