Incase you don't know about them the GSXs have all wheel drive and a turbo charged 4G63T, it was hard to find this car with a manual trans where I'm at. Plans are building a 98/99 block with the 2g head and power goals are 450 whp but that's down the road quite aways and plans can change.
I am kinda expecting a little flame me owning a DSM lol
DUDE do yourself a favor. I built 2 6bolt blocks (95-98 motors) for my old GSX both were pushing over 520hp but i blew them both and had crankwalk out the anus...
If you want to build a motor get a 1991-94 5 bolt block. They are like tanks!

About my old GSX. FP Green - bored/ported/clipped, aem ems, greddy 24 line intercooler (painted black) with hard pipes (greddy turbo hardpipes for eclipse is discontinued), walbro 255lph fuel pump, 770cc injectors, upgraded fuel rail, 5.0 mustang throttle body, tial wastegate, greddy type-s bov, msd ignition & all upgraded plugs & wires, ACT2600 clutch, greddy 3" exhaust with test pipe, hks intake, AVC-R, SAFC2, Autometer gauges, greddy turbo timer, koni springs, tokico shocks... lots of other random stuff. (100% stock exterior)

My GSX was not street legal
I tried to bring it through inspection once and it failed so horribly it wasn't even funny haha..
So I bought a matching GS Eclipse. It was the same year and looked identical only just a different color.
I occasionally put my GS license plate on the GSX and went crusiing the streets in my sleeper
Walked many vettes / endless number of built mustangs and camaros
Walked on a TT supra (stock & auto) and kept up with a R6 crotch rocket until around 120mph.

fun times

not bad...kept up with an R6....I used to have one of those too. Upgraded to a GSXR1000. That's where I get my speed fix now....

I don't mean to be rude but do some more research! The 89-92 1/2 had the solid 6 bolt, the 92 1/2-94 had the 1g 7 bolt (which doesn't crank walk) the 95-97 were the 7 bolt crank walkers and the 98-99 were the revised 7 bolts with a dual thrust bering which solved the crank walk problem. People take the "crank walk" issue way too far. I litteraly read about people thinking its crank walk but its just a simple clutch trubble.

Please don't spread any of your false info to other DSMers, I don't mean to sound like an *** but when it comes down to false info I get pissed. Also I seariously doubt you kept up with an R6, I seariously think the dude was screwing with you. With the 750cc injectors you were most likely running a 16g or smaller on regular pump gas, with that little hp I doubt you were up with a bike.

I have no doubt that you are full of car facts and info but I'm sorry but you just sounded like a total n00b right there. 520 hp on a 16g would be hard as hell, you would need a HX35 or possibly the bastard 20g, and those little injectors won't be pushing enough fuel to the motor.
