lol it was my friend. He said something about stretching it. and I always read about stretching tires but wasnt sure what it meant.

i dunno anything about tires, but I do know that 17 would not fit 18!

you can stretch the same size tire for the same size wheel.

stretching tires means putting a smaller width tire on a wider width wheel.

While this should seem like COMMON SENSE to everyone, apparently it is not.

I work at Costco Tire center and i actually get this question more than you think. I got into an argument with a lady on the phone for literally 20 mins about this same thing. She insisted we made a mistake and installed a 13in tire on her 14in rim. SMH
