in regards to the Honda comment, youre close but still way off. it is not a Honda ECU it is a AEM standalone version 1 made for a Honda but modified for the Lexus that 'can' be used. not necessary. there are other routes you can take for a standalone

If you're concerned on saving money as far as Fuel management goes, I'd recommend you look into an Apexi SAFC2, 2J's love safc's, I know of a few 500hp supra's running on that $200 unit.

Those are nice kits!! SRT is second to none when it comes to it!
Just amazes that they are using 1000cc injectors but also is good insurance for people trying to push the limits of their setups or grabbing a larger turbo

$4k is a small portion of what you will need.
If your an auto, then 400hp is your max, before having to rebuild the tranny. If your manual, then you should start rebuilding your tranny while you install the turbo kit. Cus the W55 or W58 is only capable of holding 350hp.
Before you jump in feet first and not know what your getting yourself into. I would read the 3 links that were posted. It will give you some clue on where you will need to start. Cash wise and knowledge, so your not having to buy things twice.
Oh, please and please dont buy ebay stuff for the IS. You will regret it later on down the road. I have read and seen peeps using ebay stuff, and they are scratching there heads on why they keep replacing the same parts over and over again.
