Default Advice: Buying IS300 2000-2004 models

I am really interested in buying an IS300 2000-2004 models, any help will be much appreciated

-should i buy a private owner or dealership?
-from doing research on car websites ( autotrader, craigslist etc) Most IS300's that are for sale have high mileage
-By that being said, i have two options and would like to know your guys opinions.
1. IS300 04. DEALERSHIP. 55,000 MILES, $16,500 asking price
2. IS300 03. PRIVATE OWNER. 50.000 MILES, $13,0000 asking price.

any advice?
thank you

Post pics of the two. Pick the one in better condition and has maintenance up to date.

dealer prices are generally higher than private party. a certified pre-owned from a Lexus dealer is even higher because they sometimes add an additional warranty plus they say they've looked the car over for you.
