Question Brake noise stumps every shop I have taken my car to!

My '01 IS300 with 95k miles has had a brake noise that has stumped both shops I have taken it to for diagnosis. We have tried turning the rotors, replacing the pads (Lexus and Thermoquiet's), replacing/greasing the slides, replacing the anti-rattle clips and verified all front-end suspension components were torqued properly. The funny thing we have noticed is that after the car has been lifted off the ground to let the suspension travel, the noise goes away for 2-3 days.

The noise is predominant when braking and sounds like a light scraping noise and I can also hear it 'click' when I first depress the brake pedal. The noise is definitely coming from the front-passenger side.

The last shop I took it to guessed that is could be my lower control arm; however was unwilling to take the gamble in replacing it since it is pricey. I am doubtful that this is the culprit since the noise is prevalent with braking and I cannot ever hear it going over bumps, etc in normal driving.

Any other people had this same problem and figured out the issue?

From researching other threads, it sounds like this could be the lower control arm bushings. Does anyone know if these can be replaced w/o buying new lower control arms? If so, anyone have the part #'s needed?

Does it make noise when turning heavy? As in a wheel bearing starting to go out?

It does not make the noise when turning heavy unless I use the brakes. Seems like any braking effort causes it to make the scraping/clicking noise.
