New Stuff for my IS300!
Hey guys,
I've been around a bit, never really posted, but I decided that today I'd share some of the things that I've done with my car finally. Just lowered it and painted the stock wheels. I'll have pictures of that up shortly.
Did want to mention that I did purchase some Megan EZ's from Circuit Motorsports and just received and installed them today. They are set on the hardest setting and still ride comfortably enough for me. I guess maybe because I've always ridden in cars with pretty rough suspensions, haha.
They look amazing. Little botch up with shipping, ended up taking a week or so longer than expected, but Circuit Motorsports kept in contact with me the whole way. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a budget set of coilovers.
It's about 3:25 am now, just finished making the final adjustments to the suspension. I'll have pictures up by tomorrow hopefully!

Hey guys.
Snapped a pretty bad cellphone pic, but it's all done. Body still rolls a lot in the corners, probably going to have to stiffen the chassis more; but this is a good start.

Haha, hey man for sure once I get it looking better! Still trying to be like you when I grow up! I need a front lip!!
My upper control arms are also hitting the top of my strut tower. Little too low...but I think it's a common problem, I might have to upgrade to aftermarket.

im saying it because the set i had was straight garbage. made alot of clunking noise and i even called tein and they said its a common problem. if its a common problem why not redo the whole thing? I tried everything u can to try and get rid of the clunking noise. i tried putting a rubber donut around the tophat, retighten every bolt to the exact specs, put a rubber thing tein sells for the springs, adjusted the presets and some other stuff. I couldnt take anymore of the clunking noise so i got rid of it and got the megan coilovers. i have absolutely 0 problems with the megan coilovers, the ride is pretty decent, and its like half the price of the flex. the flex was a bit stiffer but hey, the flex was 32way adjustable and the megan racing ezs have 15. TEIN is just a name that is very well known. in my opinion, its not all that great. my friends are all honda head and I used to like hondas and stuff so my goal was to get tein FLEX and it was a BIGA$$ disappointment.
