most new radical designs don't fair as wel...look at the Aztec.

Okay people once again I believe(like any one cares) that different is a good thing. Let's not be like BORGS 
an be assimilated. Who wants to have a meeting and all the friggin cars look a like??? 
Most of us get ideas from each other or other vehicles that we have seen. Hell, Justin has the demon eyes and a friggin camera in the rear that I'm still trying to figure out where to purchase it at. It's just my taste.

well i gotta admit that i like the way the demon eyes look on the IS. But in the dark, with them on, it looks like a bmw so to say that you didn't like them on the IS, but you liked them on 5 series would be contradictory. i do think however that people go a little over board at times throwing out the "rice" word when it comes to a vehicle using another vehicles parts. the altezza tails and stuff, yes i think they look like crap on other cars. but what makes it look that way is that these companies have taken the original concept and morphed it and molded it into something besides what it was designed to look like. or someone has used a part of another car that just totally doesn't belong. like s-class mercedes headlights and tails on a prelude that i saw at a show once. that is what i think is rice. no matter how hard they try, it just doesn't look natural. now for the dde lights if we took them and changed them to look like something else then i think that would be a ricey thing to do. but to take the concept and use it the way bmw designed it; it just complements bmw for their design if you ask me. that is just my .02 on that subject.

ok well first of all, that is not an e46. that is an older 7 series. but anyway, my whole point in that was at least we don't go all out and put them in the taillights, corner lights forglights, you know over the top stuff. cause like the altezas are rediculas with the turn signals tails and brake lights are all done in the round red hings i dunno you get my drift now?
i hate to do this to my sis's old car but see what i mean? the altezzas for the accord and stuff look nothing like the original.
