i just got the megan ez coilovers. i want to lower my front a bit more. i was wondering if i have to take off anything else other than the wheel? does any of the suspension parts need to come off? and which nut do i turn? the upper one or the lower one?
the upper part spins while the lower arm stays connected to the spindle. loosen the bottom nut and Use upper nut to turn the center piece up or down then tighten
They are awesome, I have had them in my car for about 6 months set on the hardest setting and I love them. Real nice ride on a lowered car
exactly the same as how i feel about them. Had them on since march, fronts are almost maxed out, rear is left alone, 3 clicks in front, 4 in the rear. no problem at all. love how it rides as well. best bang for ur buck!
Are this megan ez coilovers as good .. better .. or worst then the tein s.s. coilovers??
I'm at a hard decision between these two.... idk whic to get... plz help!!
if u dont want any clunking problems with tein, i suggest u go with the megan racing ezs. I had tein flex before not the tein s.s, i loved the ride and stiffness but the clunking noise was getting far too annoying. I even called tein and they said its a common problem for is300s. then I complained like no other to them, all they said was they cant do anything about the problem. They just told me to buy the spring rubber wrap i believe. Bought that, still made the noise so i got rid of it asap and got the megan racing ezs. I had the megan racing ezs on since march and i had absolutely 0 problems with it. rides well, decent stiffness, cheap in price.
Yea EZ are what you want for hella flush just remember they arnt really stiff. They are more medium stiffness so if your extremely low the shocks are still going to travel a good distance
