What do you mean change tires? you Rotated them or got New tires?

Anytime you change tires around you should get an alignment. I put in new tie rods, ball joints, bearings, wheels, and tires myself and when I put the car on the road it tracked perfectly straight. maybe I got lucky but I am still getting an alignment when I hit 300 miles
