BAM! stopped by the shop to give you guys a quick update

jdm foot lamps getting installed
got the a grill put on the sub
red piping on the seats
jdm headlights are in
jdm black chrome grill (gonna have factory lexus emblem)
work wheels arrived!
flat blacking the inside of the fogs
lexus embroidery on headrests and dash cover over the airbag
6 1/2 components going in the c pillar where 3 1/2s are
adding another pair of 6 1/2 components in the driver doors to be wrapped in red piping

 

looking good, can't wait to see it all finished

 

Can't wait to see the wheels on the car. Some of my favorite wheels for the is300. Anything else on the way?

 

Still waiting on the tails from Japan :/

 

k so the fab guy decided the 6 1/2 in the c pillar will stick out too much cause there isn't enough depth. so going to put them in the rear doors so they'll match the front doors. got my dash part around the shifter repainted flat black where that last bogus installer jacked it up... also found out today he never installed my tweeters from the component set...i still have the stock ones!!! ugh. i'd really like to bash that guys face now. :|

oh and i ordered some clear floor mat covers for my front mats. the red is getting pretty beat up already. also i got my work lug nuts in. wheels came with the anodized blue valve stems, so bought the matching color, although i'd rather it be black. shrug. lastly, i ripped the front mudguards off last week, but replacements came in today, so no worries

 

Who did the piping? Locally?

 

Yea locally. Really the only way, I mean you could send your seats off somewhere but shipping would be a nightmare and what I got done in 3 days would probably take 3 weeks or more.

 

i'm tweeking! i'm tweeking! can't wait to get the car back... still haven't seen it with the wheels on. got my car tag in officially. it makes me laugh. lol

my girl said she's gonna do a photoshoot with the car when i get back it too. i'll post them up, if given persmission of course.

 

How did u get the seats lined in read? or whewre did u go to get an idea i like the look alot

far as red piping goes, i ordered the red floor mats cause i thought it looked cool, and because of the red floor mats, i decided to do all interior led lighting...i was showing my buddy the car and he had always wanted to change the piping on his seats in an older car he had in the day. well he mentioned i should do red piping to match everything and not be too dramatic. thought on it for a couple days, and decided to do it. so there ya go!

got it done at a shop in orlando, where in FL do you live? if ya got some $$$ to spend they do AMAZING work! Exclusive Whipz
