2003 Factory Spoiler cracking, after market replacement opnions?
Hello guys, well i'm going to be selling the IS 300 soon. Over time the spoiler has slowly began to crack on the top, it appears its following the bolt pattern underneath and has since formed two nice cracks along the left and right side of my oem spoiler. Its the version with no gap and it secured to the truck lid.
My question is does anyone have any experience with the non OEM replacements? I know its not the same but i'm just looking to make it look better as the heat and time has caused my current spoiler to fade and crack, and i plan on selling the vehilce soon.
I looked at one on www.carid.com and they have one for under $200 painted. Does anyone have any experience dealing them them? Again, i'm just looking for a drop in replacement for sales purposes. I love this vehicle and am going to miss it but its time to move on. I'm still holding out hope they will release pics of a 2012 or 2013 redesign. =)

Yes, I installed one of those from eBay that replaces the oem holes....there's 7 bolts and clips that hold the spoiler in tact, and a lot of 3m dual adhesive tape. It's going to be a pain getting it off but patience is the key...
I like the spoiler I got, of course it's not oem but it fits just like it, if you need the link where I got mine I can send it to you...
Personally, I regret buying it though cuz now I want a wings west one, it's secksy
