ok so I start playing forza and I am doing a engine swap on the is300 i own in the game . When I start choosing engines I had a choice of the supra engine or the isf engine (2UR-GSE) now I have never seen a isf engine swap for the is300 so I am confused. So I was wondering if anybody has done this yet in real life (not the game). I really doubt this even exist but hey doesn't hurt to ask!

I'm not looking to swap I'm just curious if someone can really fit a v8 into the is300 and if i was willing to do a swap I would just buy the isf it's f***ing sexy!

There's the LS1S300 swap. [best bang for the buck imo] There was a couple IS400's kicking around with the 1UZ, also, the IS430 [Millen was it? Don't recall who swapped it].

So yeah, it would be possible. But unlike the previous motors, the hood would need serious work to fit it. The 1UZ motor needs hood work to fit it without hitting it.

1/2/3UZ+R154/W58 is actually somewhat straightforwards if you go with standalone engine management. LSx+T56 is a bit more involved as you need to beat the tunnel out to fit the trans iirc.

It can be done, provided you have verrrrryyyyyy deep pockets. No sense though, swap in an LSx or a GTE. You could also swap in the LFA engine in Forza 4....

There was a episode of rides that i saw where they put a engine out of a LS 430 in a IS 300. They where calling it a IS 430. I think this how lexus got idea for the IS F

It was a GS430 transplanted to an IS300 that was contracted out by Lexus Corporate to Rod Millen Motorsport to build it, with the paint styling theme by Chip Foose.

This car REALLY was the basis for Lexus to evaluate the publics reaction to such a powerplant in the next gen IS. This project car could likely have been key in seeing the ISF coming to fruition.

that car is awesome besides the grill and the paint job, love fooses work but two tone just doesnt do it for this car
