the wheel is on and everything seems fine when im driving on a nice road. but when i go over a bump i think the wheels are hitting the fender. im on megan ez street coilovers. if i raise the car and set it to stiff will it solve the problem?

Tape up your fenders to see where your tires are rubbing.

If you find that you are only rubbing on the fender liners, heat them up and remold them. I would use a metal seam roller, heat gun, and some work gloves. To help the plastic keep it's shape once it has been remolded, I would use a rag and ice water to cool off the surface. See thread for images (start with post #145): My IS Story: Day 1 - Page 10 - Club Lexus Forums.

If your tires are rubbing fender, you should consider having them rolled. Ask around for somebody reputable in your area. If you are absolutely against the idea, raising the car will help. However, you may be in the same position if you hit the right pot hole, dip, or bump.
