just got my 2002 lexus is300 yellow 5 speed last night
(my other thread didnt post some reason)
picked it up last night from Atlanta, ga
87k miles
5 speed
LSD
runs/drives good
found a local place that will fix all the imperfections in the pait and respray factory color for 500$
flaws:
person replaced front glass did a bad job, and air comes through the cracks on front windshield
the key was super glued by elmer himself
rear bumper has a crack in it, looks like a light pole or something idk..
and stuff i need help finding:
cover for the passenger side mirror thats suppose to be yellow and the glass.. or just the whole thing dont care what color it is, just want a mirror from someone
in the picture of interior its missing that piece, idk what its suppose to be wondering where i can get one and what its called and what it does
also has a bad oxygen sensor autozone wanted 119$ :/

Yeah o2 sensors go bad kinda often. I have to replace my 4th one like every 2 years.
It is the one right after the catalytic converter, it gets dirty the fastest. Located under the car right under the passenger side footwell.
You can get an o2 simulator or o2 delete. Do a search on club lexus you will find it.
It is cheaper than buying a new o2 sensor every couple years, but it is kinda involved getting it installed.

5200$ for it
and yea in chattanooga, tn there is 0 is300 parts f/s
have to drive to atlanta, ga to find anything for parts
found a mirror for 125$ obo and another from a wrecked car for 85$
so thats really all the parts i need, and the interior piece, but i think its different from sunroof vs non-sunrroof that goes between the rear view mirror and the map lights.
i bought an o2 sensor from a place here for it for 70$ so ima replace now just to get through emissions check, and if more go bad ill do the o2 sensor delete and start removing cats lol.. all i need is the o2 kit and one high flow cat and im set

was made in july 2001 original owner bought in december 2001 and wrecked in 8 months later, they repaired and he got a reconstructed title for it and sold it year or two later then the next guy owned it until this year it was a Massachusetts/Rhode island car until now
