2002 IS300 weird sounds after a run.
So I just got a used IS300 and went on a cruise around town today to get the feel of it. Everything was fine until when I parked and turned off the engine, I would hear the car make this "tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick" Sound under the car and around the engine bay. It sounds like continuous droplets from a facet. I checked under the car, but i don't see any leaks.
Can some tell me what this symptom is? and is it normal for a 130 mile car to react after a 20 minute drive?
Please bless me your wisdom fellow CLers.
Thank you,
Ricky.

Whew.. Thanks guys.. I feel assured. Hey Rollyr, did you end up getting that IS350?
I decided to get a IS300 instead because I my insurance cost was too high for the IS350.

yea! i ended up with an IS300 instead and it was because of the insurance also. the best part is that im glad i got the IS300 instead...it grew on me instantly and its a manual transmission which was a huge selling point. now i have extra cash to put into the car. dont get me wrong, the IS350 would have been awesome...but the potential of the IS300 will make up for it.
