Hey all I'm new here to club lexus and just bought a 02 is300 last week. Someone stole what I think was the navigation or dvd player head unit out of the car. I got this at an auction so I have no idea what was there. I have no owners manual either. there is 2 dvd head units on the headrests of the seats for the back seat, so I assume the DVD went in the big unit up front and had some sort of navigation screen or maybe just another dvd screen. I would like to get this going again. I see the connectors laying there so it may not be that hard to get one installed. Where would I find one? I have searched ebay with not much luck. Any ideas out there?

i would suggest going to an electric shop first to see exactly what it is that it could have been connected to

Sounds like it was a after market head unit. I believe that is300 dont come with a factory DVD player and you cant connect those screens to it. Go to best buy and buy a dvd player that has RCA outlets for your Head Rest screens so viewers in the back can watch

unless the headrest video players have a dvd player built in it, it definitely had an after market dvd power it. youll have to find another unit that has a video out on the back of the unit
