Cool Help??? Trunk on '02 is300 is stuck in locked position, will not open or move!

After we Installed my new rear View Backup License Plate Camera, we had to run the camera Power wire right next to the stock trunk key hole! THE NEXT DAY as I try to open up my trunk with my key all of a sudden the key gets stuck in hole i try to move to right to open the trunk it will not budge!I jiggle it a little and it moves all the way to the left, which puts the trunk in Hard lock position! Now the trunk will not open with the lever in driver side, it also will not budge or jiggle at all from far left horizontal Lock position! But the trunk will open from the inside with the emergency lever, so obviously its the key hole or lever that goes down to the trunk hatch! I need HELP, and solutions or thoughts ideas or opinions! Please comment and help me out hopefully this can be fixed and I wont need to pay a mechanic or the Lexus Dealership! thanks all thoughts appreciated!

If you didn't make a pathway for the camera wire, and just pinched the wire, your lock mechanism is probably not properly seated. When I ran the wire for my BU camera under the lock to the outside, I used a dremel to grind a small pathway for the wire. The Pioneer camera wire is pretty thin, so I didn't have to remove very much material. Afterward, I painted the bare metal with touch-up, and sealed the hole with silicone. Pop the trunk with the in-trunk GF release lever, unbolt the lock mechanism, reinstall, and see if that fixes things.

Have you tried using the wireless trunk pop?
