Talking New in-dash stereo

Just got this installed today. It's a Kenwood DDX418. Next step is to get the nav and bluetooth upgrades

Looks good! I went with the pioneer z130bt since it already comes with Bluetooth, navi & traffic tuner...

i wanted a better looking dash kit but didn't want to wait on shipping so i just went with this one. I wanted a pioneer for the same reasons but i thought the resolution was better on this one than the pioneer i looked at and i got a better deal on this one

Well I am in the same boat on the dash kit... But I was actually trying to get a kenwood since they have the best navi but I got a pioneer x930bt instead since it had a lot of more to offer overall

IMO, that's the nicest dash kit available.

Nice choice! Double dins really clean up the center stack and make everything more slick!

no way that is nicer than the JDM OEM double din kit!! I have that dash kit and the inner trim has a nasty cut mark on the right from us cutting it!!

I did some research on double din before I got mine and depends on what you are looking for!

Kenwood- hands down has the BEST Navi system since they are the only company to team up with a real navi company (Garmin) and you can upgrade your maps for free!

Pioneer- has more to offer overall like using iphone apps/ watch netflix on your unit but the navi is not as nice as Kenwood!

Those are the only companies I would recommend IMO!!

Yes, I would recommend this unit but if you were going to get it I would go for the newer model with the 7 in. touch screen and navi included. I've had this for about a week now and I like it a lot and I love how it looks in the car. somewhere down the road I'm sure I'll upgrade it but first I need some Memphis speakers
