Cool IS300 18 Inch Rim Fitment

I'm looking on Tirerack.com and I don't see much options when i select my vehicle.

Getting to the point will this setup work?

Advanti Racing B2 Denaro
Finish: Black w/Mach Lip

18 x 8
Offset: 42mm
Backspacing: 6.14"
Bolt Pattern: 5-114
Weight: 20.7lbs.

Tire Size:225/40-18 (I was thinking of this size)

Will be installing Tein H-Techs with this setup. (1 inch drop)

The same rim in a 17 inch with the specs below is listed to fit.

17 x 7
Offset: 42mm
Backspacing: 5.66" Bolt
Pattern: 5-114
Rec. Tire Size:215/45-17
Weight: 17.3lbs.

Tell me what you guys think!!!

The width of the rims would help.

Yeah that's a very basic setup, you'll be fine with 225/40's.

Thanks!

It interesting Tirerack doesn't list this 18 inch size option for my car, they are usually pretty good about fitment.

Ok sounds good.

Thanks for the info!

What's the main difference in ride comfort for a 225/40R18 vs 215/40R18 ?

215/40R18 is the recommended tire size but 225/40R18 tires are cheaper!

No difference IMO, unless you're going with two different brands/types of tire. With the 225's your sidewalls will be 4mm taller.
So unless you have a really sensitive butt, I don't think you would be able to tell the difference.
