Default One of my xenons changed color

So the passenger side stock xenon on my car has turned kind of purplish and the light output is lower. I assume it means the bulb is on its way out, its the same bulb that came with the car 10 years ago.

Im on Sewell Lexus parts and I just wanted to make sure I am ordering the correct part. The part # is 81110L and it costs $150 with the CL discount. That seems like a lot but I am sure the dealer would really mark it up. Can anyone confirm that this is the correct bulb to buy?

Thanks

I based it on this diagram

Hi, i would assume that it is your bulb. I was suffering from one of my headlights loosing color output and they were also turning off by them selves and not lighting up at times.
I was debating on ordering the oem bulbs but they were too expensive.
I bought my bulbs from www.DDMtuning.com, they cost only $15.00 for a pair because we already have a oem hid setup so all your buying are the bulbs. They have different color temperatures to choose from. For only $15.00 a pair you can try different colors i went with the 5000k this is a white color with a very low tint of blue. Looks very clean, you can try the 4500k which would be closer to the oem hid bulb color. They have never went out on me or gave any issue. i have been running them for about 6months now. Save your money, ddm bulbs are just as good.

well this week the bulb finally went out. Turning the headlight switch off and then on makes the light reappear but clearly I need to order something because I dont want to get a ticket. Thanks for the tip about aftermarket bulbs, I will look into it, though I would want something as close to OEM color/temp as possible

You should replace both bulbs at once, and I would use OEM Philips or Osram bulbs, not cheap aftermarket stuff. But a pair of OEM bulbs should cost under $100.

dear god, its near impossible to get my hands down there and when I finally did remove the cap, I am having a hard time pulling out the bulb. Do I need to twist anything? because wiggling it wont work (though Ill try again later)

Thanks for the tip about the philips bulb.

this is it right?

yea but you don't need to buy Philips, please don't !!

Find them for $15 - 20 a pair, and replace the pair !!!
