Default enkei wheels

i'm really broke and i only have about 900 left from work as a highschool student. i wanted to buy some enkei wheels because they're cheap.

as a highschool student going to college, i will not be making any more money for another year. i wanted to get some wheels before college starts but my bro says enkei wheels are not the way to go (work vs-xx/ BBS = pro). but im short on money, so should i get enkei wheels or do people really look down upon them? if so, which ones should i get?

sorry, again, im a noob.

Enkei is actually the largest wheel manufacturer in the world. They produce wheels for brands such as AME, Advan, and Weds(which is in the same category as "pro" as your bro states it if comparing to such wheels as Work). But honestly, if you dont like the way a certain wheel looks just save up your money and get what you really want. I think people look down more on Enkei's "performance" line for their ricey appearance but their "racing" line comprised of the RPF1 and NT03+M and such are highly revered among the Formula Drifters.

get what you want man it doesnt matter about status ESPECIALLY since you are about to be a college student man just get some decent priced wheels and ride. I would love some works or vossens or bbs but I need my money for other endeavors and bills lol I bought some wheels from a vendor here in my town and they were cheap and I like them some on CL have said I need wider better cooler etc and I want but I cant : \ so if you have to, go cheap man no shame in that.

To each their own

... and if you read my sig all I ever had was "pro" wheels as your buddy calls them.
These are 1 piece and two of them together weigh less than one of my volks.

Love my NT-03's

don't forget that you need money for new tires and to money to mount them.
