Is300 won't start please help
Ok so I have an 01 is300. Yesterday I noticed that one of my alternator bolts was loose so I tightened it, next I decided to unhook the hot on the battery to reset my radio settings, after waitin a minute or two I hooked up the battery then went to get in the car and start it but all it would do is turn over. It won't fire up. Does anyone have a clue what this could be?
I have done lots of research on this and can't find an answer.. Key still has signal, am1 and am2 are both good. I don't think I getting fuel because I removed one of the spark plugs and turned the starter a few times and ne'er could smell any gas coming from spark plug hole.. I found where a guy on here had the same problem as me and he said he had to reset the fuel pump shut off system.. He mention he had to look up how to do that in the manual. Well I don't have a manual, so does anyone else know how to do this or have an idea what could be the problem.. Thanks and your help is greatly appreciated!!

unfortunately, without checking fuel pressure to confirm the lack of fuel, I am not sure... lots of things could go wrong with this and cause your issue - my first thoughts are anti theft and fuel pump...
Lexus don't have these roll over type switches to my knowledge - the ECU is able to turn the fuel pump off when it senses a lack of spark...
